Weightman Family Flooring sells and installs hardwood, luxury vinyl, carpet, tile and laminate from three showrooms in Middle Tennessee. The business grew out of Watson Floor Gallery, which dates to 1987.

We come out, measure the rooms and talk through what will hold up in them. The estimate is in-home.

Install day
The crew moves the furniture, lays the floor, puts the room back and cleans up behind themselves.

From Watson Floor Gallery to Weightman
Adam Weightman moved to Tennessee in 2007 and went to work at Watson Floor Gallery that same year. He stayed through the housing slump of 2009, became a manager and then a partner, and in 2018 he and Kate Weightman became the owners. Kate runs the office.
Greg Koehler started the same year Adam did and has more than 20 years in flooring behind him: account manager, project manager, sales and commercial work. He runs the Spring Hill showroom now. On the sales floor and in customers’ homes, David Lewis is the name that turns up most in the reviews.

Before you pick a floor
The questions people ask on their first call to a showroom.
How much does new flooring cost?
The price comes after an in-home measure, because the house sets most of it. Square footage, the material, the number of rooms and transitions, stairs, what has to come up first and the state of the subfloor all move the number. Call (615) 277-5678 or send the form and we’ll set a time to measure.
Do you install the flooring you sell?
Yes. Hardwood, luxury vinyl, carpet, tile and stone, and laminate are all sold and installed, after the rooms are measured at the house. Joe N.’s Google review describes the installers finishing a rec room in one day, putting the furniture back and cleaning up the rooms afterward.
Can I see flooring samples without going to a showroom?
Yes. Ask for shop at home and the samples come to your front door, so you can hold them next to your cabinets, paint and the floor in the next room. Book it by calling (615) 277-5678 on a weekday between 9 and 5, or with the estimate form.
How long has Weightman Family Flooring been in business?
Since 1987. The business started on August 1 that year as Watson Floor Gallery, according to its Better Business Bureau record, and has been BBB accredited since 1994. Adam and Kate Weightman became the owners in 2018 and the business now carries their family name.
Can I pay for new floors over time?
Yes. The old site listed two ways: a loan arranged through Lendvious, from $1,000 to $100,000 over one to five years, and the Mohawk Credit Card. The lender sets the rate and the approval, so ask about both when you book the estimate.
Which towns do you install flooring in?
Fourteen towns across Maury, Williamson, Davidson, Rutherford, Wilson and Sumner counties, from Columbia and Spring Hill up to Gallatin and Hendersonville. Each one has a nearest showroom: Spring Hill, Nashville on Trousdale Drive, or College Grove, which opens by appointment.
