About us
That line ran across the old About page, and the business behind it goes back to Watson Floor Gallery in 1987. Here is who runs it now.

The company on the Better Business Bureau’s books started on August 1, 1987, as Watson Floor Gallery, with Johnny Watson as its principal. It has held BBB accreditation since February 1994, an A+ business at both the Spring Hill and the Nashville addresses.
Adam and Kate Weightman moved to Tennessee in 2007, and Adam started at Watson Floor Gallery that year. The old site said he proved his mettle through the housing slump of 2009; he came out of it a manager and then a partner. In 2018 Adam and Kate became the full owners, and Kate joined soon after as Office Manager.
The name on the door changed to theirs. In the old site’s words, the Nashville store became “Same People with a New Name and Location.” The way the business describes itself hasn’t moved: “a locally owned and operated family business, based on honesty, quality, and service.”
The promise on the old About page was short: “we will be with you from the start to finish, to ensure your satisfaction.” In the reviews it looks like the same person from the showroom turning up to measure, the crew moving the furniture back, and somebody saying wait when the subfloor needs fixing first.

The name that comes up most in the Google reviews. Joe N. met him at the store and then watched him measure the rec room; Paul T. wrote that David kept him posted on every step; Chad M. left one line: “David Lewis is the absolute best!!”
On install day
Gregory W. named him in a review: knowledgeable about the floor, kept the house clean, and finished when he said he would.
“We decided to replace our downstairs rec room carpet that had been in our home for 40 years… Weightmans was recommend to us by our new neighbors, so we went to the store, where we met David who was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. He came to our house to measure… The installers did an excellent job in 1 day and returned furniture they had moved and cleaned up our rooms. It was a favorable experience from start to finish.”
